I am a two time recipient of the Diversity Scholarship Fund. First for the Public Interest Scholarship and second for the Bar Exam Preparation Scholarship. Both of the scholarships meant a lot to me as they each were able to help me ease the financial burden of the law school so I could focus on studying and performing well academically. I am so appreciative that the committee was gracious to award this money towards my education. I happy to say that I was successful on the bar exam and I am now licensed practicng attorney. I know that this scholarship played a role in helping me to achieve my professional goal of becoming a civil rights attorney and I will never forget these generous gifts from DSF.
