Hot Topics in Immigration Law: Beyond the Media

Join us for a CLE* to discuss hot topics in immigration law beyond talking points and media headlines.  The discussion will cover the status of DACA, criminal conviction considerations, the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Sessions v. Dimaya, and the Presidential Executive Order on Buy American and Hire American.  The panel will also discuss ineffective assistance of counsel and lawyers’ ethical responsibilities when advising clients in cases involving criminal convictions.
