The Diversity Scholarship Foundation, NFP presents a FREE CLE and Public Forum on the

ILLINOIS CANNABIS CONTROL ACT

Tuesday, August 13, 2019 | 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The John Marshall Law School, 315 S. Plymouth Court, 12th Floor
The CLE will feature panels of state officials, lawyers, and law enforcement officers taking a comprehensive look at the newly enacted Cannabis Control Act from multiple points of view. First, legislators will discuss the history of the act, its creation, and ultimate passage. Then, we will hear from representatives from the Illinois State Police about implementation of the act and the expungement process. We will also hear from criminal defense attorneys and prosecutors as well as employment law attorneys regarding potential issues surrounding the act.
