License to Work Act

The CLE will feature a discussion about the newly enacted License to Work Act signed into law by Governor J.B. Pritzker that goes into effect July 1, 2020. Over 50,000 Illinois licenses are suspended each year because drivers can’t pay parking tickets, fines, or fees; or for other reasons unrelated to bad driving. If you can’t work, you can’t pay. If you can’t pay, you can’t work. The panelists will address the new law from multiple points of view.
