Receiving the Law Student with a Disability Scholarship was a tremendous honor. Knowing that Justice Reyes and the entire DSF team believe in me gave me the confidence I needed to prepare for and pass the Bar Exam. I will always have fond memories of the unity dinner and summer soiree and am grateful for the monetary and moral support that DSF has given me over the years. To this day, my proudest moment was being sworn in as a licensed attorney by Justice Reyes in his courtroom in Chicago. I keep my scholarship certificate hanging on the wall in my apartment as a reminder of the people who supported me and the importance of diversity in the legal profession. Thank you to the entire DSF team for all that you do.
